Mindful swimming is an 8 week program, led by Lauren. Learn to reach ZEN mode in the water, achieving pure relaxation and mindfulness. Move effortlessly with rhythmic breathing, experiencing profound calm and ultimate mindfulness. This allows you to feel restful, restorative and rejuvenated after every swim.

Designed for adults of all swimming abilities, mindful swimming can help beginners to overcome fears, build confidence and feel at ease in the water. Feeling calm and relaxed is vital when learning to swim, so mastering these fundamentals ensures you start your lessons feeling comfortable and safe.

Even experienced swimmers will benefit. Finding ZEN mode while swimming is an unparalleled experience. Your arms and legs move on autopilot, and your breath propels you through the water, making your body feel strong and your mind serene.   • We start by learning about movement through the water. The more at ease we can feel within the water, the more likely we are to reach ZEN mode. You will learn how to float, glide and move through the water, whilst learning the correct breathing technique to reach full relaxation.

  • Immerse yourself in the serenity of the water and experience a flow and relaxation like no other. Focusing on the qualities of the water and our environment, allowing us to find peace and quiet within our minds.

  • In this course you will learn how to enter ZEN mode when swimming and combine this with your swimming practise. Simply gliding through the water, your thoughts float away, you are soothed by the rhythm of your stroke. Whether for mental or physical benefits, mindful swimming is your way to a healthy swimming regime.
